1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Tribal Punk Customs ("Tribal Punk Customs", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information you provide through the website www.tribalpunkcustoms.com ("Site").
This Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules framed thereunder (including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Tribal Punk Customs is the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data collected through this Site.
By accessing the Site or submitting any information through it, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to the Site only. Our services are directed solely at customers within India. We do not knowingly market the Site to, or solicit information from, persons outside India.
This Policy does not cover the information practices of third-party websites we link to (such as our Instagram page, Google Maps listings, or partner garages). When you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that third party apply.
3. Information We Collect
(a) Information you provide via the contact form:
- Name — to address you personally
- Email address — to respond to your enquiry
- Phone number (optional) — if you prefer a call or WhatsApp follow-up
- Vehicle details (optional) — to prepare a relevant quote
- Service of interest (optional)
- Your message
(b) Information collected automatically: When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used solely for security, error diagnosis, and basic performance monitoring.
We do not collect any sensitive personal data (financial information, biometric data, health records, etc.) through this Site.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry and schedule a consultation
- Prepare estimates and quotes for the work you've asked about
- Maintain a record of our conversation for follow-up
- Comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or to sell or rent your data to third parties.
5. Consent & Contact Channels
By submitting the contact form, you provide your free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent for Tribal Punk Customs to contact you in connection with your enquiry via telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or any other messaging service for which you have provided contact details.
You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer (details below). Withdrawal of consent will not affect any consultation or work already in progress, but we will stop further outbound contact within 15 working days of your request.
6. How We Store Your Information
Submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled cloud repository accessible only to authorised members of the Tribal Punk Customs team. Data is transmitted to our servers over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We follow reasonable security practices and procedures consistent with Rule 8 of the IT (RSP) Rules, 2011.
7. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Some of the technology infrastructure we use to operate the Site (including our hosting and version-control providers) is operated by service providers headquartered outside India. As a result, your information may be processed or stored on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we ensure that the receiving service provider offers a comparable level of data protection. We will not transfer your data to any jurisdiction that has been formally restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.
8. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site (hosting, email delivery, secure storage). They are bound by confidentiality and may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Affiliated workshops within our partner network, but only if you have specifically asked to be connected with a regional partner and only to the extent needed to facilitate that introduction.
- Legal requirements — if compelled by a court, regulator, or law enforcement agency in India.
9. Cookies & Tracking
This Site currently uses only essential cookies required for core functionality. We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing cookies. If we later introduce analytics or performance-tracking cookies, we will request your consent through a cookie banner before they are set, and update this Policy accordingly.
Standard server log files, as described in Section 3(b), are retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
10. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information
- Erase your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (Section 14), and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved
To exercise any of these rights, email our Grievance Officer at wishwas@rawexpeditions.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" from the email address you originally used to contact us. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and respond substantively within 30 days.
11. Data Retention
We keep enquiry submissions for as long as needed to respond and complete any resulting consultation or build, plus a reasonable record-keeping period of up to three (3) years thereafter. After this period, the data is deleted or anonymised, unless we are legally required to retain it longer (for example, for tax or statutory record-keeping).
12. Opt-Out
If you no longer wish to be contacted by us, email wishwas@rawexpeditions.com from the registered address with the subject line "Opt-Out". Your contact details will be suppressed from further outbound communications within 15 working days.
13. Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please write to our Grievance Officer and we will delete it.

15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice — for example, by placing a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
