Our performance tuning didn't just make a car faster on the road — it put a team on the podium. A TPC-tuned Volkswagen Polo competed in the Valley Run Drag Race, one of India's most respected grassroots motorsport events, and came home with 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the Polo class.

This is what a decade of mountain-hardened engine knowledge looks like when the lights go green. Every tenth of a second on the strip is earned in the garage.

Tribal Punk Customs was born in the mountains of Bir, Himachal Pradesh — not from a business plan, but from the hard truth that the machines doing serious mountain work needed to be built by people who actually understood the terrain.

Founded in 2016, TPC started as a travel brand running tours across India's most challenging terrains. We led expeditions — winter runs, high-altitude off-road routes, places where oxygen is scarce and mechanical failure is not an option. That frontline experience became the foundation of every build and tune we've done since.

Today TPC runs a deliberate dual-revenue model: performance tuning keeps the momentum going and the team sharp, while high-ticket caravan builds — priced ₹25L and above — deliver the margins that fund genuine craftsmanship and real R&D.

We are also operationally linked to Raw Expeditions Pvt. Ltd., our Himalayan travel venture based in Bir, Himachal Pradesh. The connection is natural: we build the machines, we run them into the wild. The feedback loop is direct — every build is battle-tested at altitude by the same people who built it.

The longer ambition is a dual workshop presence — Bir and Mumbai — serving both the growing Himalayan expedition community and the city tuning market from their own base camps.

The Beginning — Bir, HP
Wishwas founds Tribal Punk Customs in Bir, Himachal Pradesh. What starts as a travel brand running tours across India's toughest terrains quickly becomes something more — a garage that builds machines equal to the mountains.
2016–2019
Tour Masters of the Himalayas
TPC establishes itself as a leading name for winter tours and off-road expeditions in the Himalayas. Running routes where oxygen is scarce teaches the team what machines truly need to survive.
2019
Raw Expeditions Pvt. Ltd.
Formal establishment of Raw Expeditions, the Himalayan travel arm. TPC builds; Raw runs. The feedback loop between builder and operator becomes the engine of every innovation.
2022
Caravan Build Division
The first high-ticket custom caravan build leaves the Bir garage — an off-road, Himalayan-grade unit that sets the standard for everything to follow. Minimum ticket: ₹25L.
2023
Valley Run — Polo Class Podium
A TPC-tuned Volkswagen Polo takes 2nd and 3rd place in the Polo class at the Valley Run Drag Race — proof that mountain-hardened engineering translates directly to the drag strip.
